Payment Plan Terms & Conditions

These Payment Plan Terms & Conditions apply to students who elect to finance or pay tuition through an approved third-party payment plan provider, including Denefits.

1. Tuition and Enrollment Agreement

Participation in a payment plan does not alter the student's tuition obligation or the terms of the Enrollment Agreement signed with Aspire Dental Assistant Academy ("Aspire"). The Enrollment Agreement, school catalog, applicable state regulations, and Aspire's published cancellation and refund policy remain controlling.

2. Payment Plan

The payment plan is a method of paying tuition owed to Aspire and does not constitute a separate enrollment agreement with the school. Payment amounts, due dates, financing charges, processing fees, late fees, and other financing terms are governed by the student's payment agreement with the payment plan provider.

3. Withdrawal or Cancellation

Withdrawing from or discontinuing attendance at Aspire does not automatically cancel the student's payment plan or eliminate amounts owed. If a student withdraws, is terminated, or otherwise ceases attendance, Aspire will calculate any applicable tuition adjustment or refund according to the student's Enrollment Agreement, Aspire's published refund policy, and applicable state law. Any resulting adjustment will be communicated to the student and/or payment plan provider as appropriate.

4. Missed or Late Payments

Students are responsible for making payments according to their payment plan agreement. Missed or late payments may result in fees, collection activity, or other consequences permitted under the student's agreement with the payment plan provider. Aspire does not control fees or charges imposed directly by a third-party financing or payment provider.

5. Nonpayment

Failure to remain current on required tuition payments may affect a student's enrollment status and/or access to school services to the extent permitted by Aspire's Enrollment Agreement, school policies, and applicable law. Any unpaid balance legitimately owed to Aspire following application of the applicable refund policy remains the student's financial responsibility.

6. Refunds and Adjustments

Any refund or tuition adjustment will be calculated according to Aspire's applicable state-approved refund policy and the student's Enrollment Agreement. Refunds associated with a third-party payment plan may be processed through or reported to the payment provider rather than issued directly to the student when required.

7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Students should contact Aspire promptly regarding questions or disputes concerning tuition charges. Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback does not independently cancel enrollment or determine whether tuition is owed. Tuition obligations will be determined under the Enrollment Agreement, applicable refund policy, and applicable law.

8. Third-Party Payment Provider

Aspire Dental Assistant Academy and the payment plan provider are separate entities. Aspire is responsible for providing the educational program described in the student's Enrollment Agreement. The payment provider is responsible for administering its payment or financing arrangement according to its own agreement with the student.

9. Controlling Documents

If these Payment Plan Terms & Conditions conflict with the student's Enrollment Agreement, an applicable state-required enrollment agreement provision, refund policy, or applicable law, the applicable Enrollment Agreement, state-required provision, refund policy, or law will control.

10. Acknowledgment

By selecting a payment plan, the student acknowledges that they remain responsible for tuition and other charges properly owed under their Enrollment Agreement, subject to Aspire's applicable cancellation and refund policy and applicable law.
